Syn-Coat was first developed to assist the US Coast Guard with the preservation and protection of inflatable boats, from the destructive elements of sun (UV rays) and salt water.

Only later was it discovered that this same product would make a beautiful and durable treatment for rubber and like-synthetic floor surfaces in sports floor applications, stair treads and entry safety matting.

Apply this product thin, working it into the pores, and you will find that any such surface will have lasting durability and protection, with a safer playing surface.

Syn-Coat Synthetic Sports Floor Conditioner

Syn-Coat is a water-based urethane/acrylic polymer formulation for poured or sheet urethane, rubber, or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sport flooring surfaces.

Syn-Coat offers exceptional adhesion, and durability, while maintaining the high degree of flexibility required to conform to the variable surface conditions of sport flooring materials. This flexibility helps avoid the problems of fracturing and cracking associated with some types of finishes used on these synthetic floors.

Syn-Coat is best maintained with Perma #70 Stand-Up Neutral Cleaner for low speed (mopping) or #71 Aurora for high speed (automatic scrubbers), and can be prepared for re-coating with #255 Deep Scrub. Stripping of this substrate is not recommended, so be sure to maintain these floors properly.
